I cannot, for the life of me, remember what the hell this book is called. And I don’t even know where to begin to describe to have Google pick up on it, so I’ll ask you guys. It’s a book that was found in the humor section of Barnes and Nobles about 4 years ago, and it was the size of a coffee table book (that’s what I used it for). And the lady used fake chickens. It was kinda like Gary Larson, like the lady just had pictures with captions under it. One had a “Wizard of Oz” theme, another picture had a “Cinderella” theme… one even had Rupunzel.
I know this is WAYY outta left field, but I absoloutely HAVE to find this books title. I need this book! Lol! Thank you for the help!
I am guilty of putting my feet up on our coffee table. We don’t wear shoes in our home, so they are always bare or with socks. My husband swears that I have now ruined the table. At the right angle, you can see scuff marks that furniture polish will not take out. He swears that I am the only person he knows that uses a coffee table as a foot rest, and I have a hard time believing that. Anyway, has this ever happened to anyone? If so, is there a way to fix it, or am I doomed to be the horrible wife that ruined the table with my feet ?!?
like a bright blue color without it looking messed upp?

I have a wooden coffee table that is at least 20 years old. I don’t know the type of wood, but it has a dark stain and is finished(I guess that is the right term..it’s shiny lol). My mother gave it to me about 2 years ago when my grandmother passed away and she got her coffee table. When my mother used it, it stayed in the living room that no one used(we all used the den as our “living” area). I have a 4 year old and since we got it I find it very hard to keep clean. Various drinks and food have been spilled on it..in short it does not look nearly as good as when I got it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get it back to the smooth, polished, clean surface it once was. Regular wood polishers/cleaners (such as Pledge, Old English) don’t work. I really hope I won’t have to strip it and re-stain/finish it. Any help is appreciated.
